About the course
The Bachelor of Nutrition Science (Honours) deepens your understanding of how nutrition affects population health while building advanced research capability. You complete honours-level coursework alongside an original supervised research project, developing skills in research design, methods, planning and implementation. You also engage with Deakin’s specialist food and nutrition research environment and facilities to apply evidence-based approaches in nutrition science at bachelor honours level.
Career outcome
Graduates are equipped for professional entry roles in Nutrition & Dietetics and further postgraduate study. Graduates register as nurses, allied health professionals, or community health practitioners. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
