About the course
This pathway Bachelor of Nursing is designed for enrolled nurses who have recently completed a Diploma of Nursing and are registered with AHPRA. It builds advanced theoretical knowledge and practical clinical capability to support transition to Registered Nurse (Division 1) practice. Study is available online and on campus, with a focus on developing safe, effective nursing practice across contemporary healthcare settings within an undergraduate nursing qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to pursue Registered Nurse (Division 1) General roles and may apply for new graduate nursing programs to consolidate practice in the final year and beyond. Career opportunities span a wide range of health services including acute hospital care, community health, mental health, residential and aged care, Indigenous health, and rural and remote health settings, reflecting the breadth of a Bachelor-level nursing qualification.
