About the course
This double degree combines nursing with psychological science to build skills in evidence-based clinical care and understanding human behaviour. You develop foundational psychology knowledge alongside nursing practice, supported by simulation-based learning and extensive supervised professional experience placements. Graduates meet requirements to pursue registration as a nurse and gain a pathway into further accredited psychology study at bachelor level. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates are prepared for roles in healthcare settings where both physical and mental health needs are addressed. Career pathways include registered nursing in hospitals, community and regional services, aged care, rehabilitation, and mental health contexts, supported by substantial clinical placement experience.
