About the course
Neuroscience at UWA explores how the brain and nervous system work, and how disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, depression and hearing loss affect them. You’ll study a multidisciplinary field spanning biology and health sciences, building knowledge relevant to understanding neural function and disease. This undergraduate major is designed for students seeking a strong science-based pathway into neuroscience study. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
