About the course
UniSC’s Bachelor of Music develops creative, technical and performance capabilities for work in today’s music industry. You’ll refine songwriting and musicianship with experienced practitioners, build production skills in dedicated studios, and learn the business side of music including management, IP and promotion. The program is designed to support a sustainable career as a music professional through practice-led, industry-relevant learning. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across performance, creation, production and music business. Opportunities include songwriter, composer, recording artist and performer, as well as music producer, sound designer and studio/sound engineer. The degree also supports roles in the industry ecosystem such as record label operator, music publisher, events or promotion officer, touring manager and music entrepreneur within the contemporary music sector. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
