About the course
Western Sydney University’s Bachelor of Midwifery combines foundational theory with extensive practical preparation, including simulation-based learning and Midwifery Practice Experience placements. You’ll develop critical and reflective skills to provide safe, evidence-based, woman-centred care across pregnancy, birth and postnatal support. The program is accredited and prepares you to pursue registration as a midwife in Australia through a Bachelor-level qualification in midwifery.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue midwifery roles across antenatal, birthing and postnatal care in public and private hospitals and broader maternity services.
