About the course
The Bachelor of Midwifery prepares students for entry to professional midwifery practice, building the skills and knowledge needed to deliver safe, woman-centred care aligned with ANMAC standards. You study areas such as anatomy and physiology, midwifery theory and practice, primary healthcare, perinatal mental health, and care across preconception, pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenting. This bachelor degree supports eligibility for AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.

Graduates can pursue work as a Registered Midwife across a range of maternity and primary healthcare settings, supporting women and families through pregnancy, labour and birth, and the postnatal period.
