About the course
This Bachelor of Midwifery develops the knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours needed for contemporary midwifery practice. Delivered online with a focus on safe, effective and culturally responsive care, it prepares you to support women and families across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. This is an undergraduate Bachelor-level qualification in midwifery. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates may be eligible to apply for registration as a midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Career opportunities include working as a registered midwife in public or private maternity services, antenatal and postnatal care, birthing units and community-based services, contributing to safe and culturally responsive care.
