About the course
This degree builds core and advanced knowledge for medical diagnosis and disease management, combining theory with hands-on laboratory experience using contemporary technologies. You study anatomy, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry and haematology before progressing to immunohaematology, infectious disease, histopathology and genetic pathology. Graduates are prepared to perform clinical testing, analyse results and support accurate reporting in pathology and clinical laboratories in a Bachelor degree in biomedical laboratory science.
