About the course
Deakin’s Bachelor of Medical Imaging prepares you for professional practice as a diagnostic radiographer. You will build foundations in medical radiation science and imaging principles, then develop skills across modalities including X-ray, CT, angiography and MRI using industry-standard labs. Clinical placements begin in first semester and continue across metro, rural and regional settings, supporting eligibility for registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner in medical imaging at bachelor level.
