About the course
Study marine ecosystems and ocean sustainability with strong practical and field-based learning in coastal environments. You’ll build expertise across marine biology and ecology, oceanography, mapping, conservation, aquaculture, fisheries, and coastal management, supported by specialist labs and facilities near the Great Southern Reef. The Bachelor of Marine Science is an interdisciplinary, science-based degree aligned to Australia’s marine priorities and industry needs. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
