The Molecular Biology major explores how cells work, how genes are regulated and how organisms respond to change. Studied within a science degree, it builds knowledge of DNA, proteins, microorganisms and key molecular processes, with strong laboratory and data-analysis experience. This undergraduate science major supports pathways into further study, including honours-level research in molecular biology. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
