About the course
The Bachelor of Health Science (Human Movement) explores human performance and the roles and benefits of exercise and physical activity. You’ll study sport and exercise-focused topics to understand how movement influences health and wellbeing, with learning delivered on campus at UC’s Bruce (Canberra) campus. This is an AQF Level 7 undergraduate degree in sports and human movement. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting physical activity, exercise and performance across community health, sport and wellbeing settings. Career pathways may include exercise and sport program support, health promotion and activity coordination roles in schools, community organisations, gyms and sporting bodies, or progressing to further study in specialised exercise and sport disciplines. This is an undergraduate qualification in sports science and human movement. Preparing graduates for laboratory technician, research assistant, and science-based industry entry roles.
