About the course
This honours law program is for high-achieving students who want an extended, research-informed legal education that meets the academic requirements for admission as an Australian lawyer. You’ll learn through collaborative, case-based classes supported by online materials and authentic assessment, building practical skills in advocacy, negotiation and legal technology. The degree also includes an additional year of non-law study to broaden career options in Law at bachelor honours level.

Graduates can pursue diverse legal and justice-sector careers, supported by practical learning opportunities such as mooting, clinical experiences and work-integrated learning placements. Career pathways include solicitor or barrister roles, legal and policy advisory positions, human rights and community advocacy, and court-related work such as judge’s associate.
