About the course
This double degree combines legal training with professional communication to build strong capability in legal reasoning, ethics and practice alongside strategic writing, media and stakeholder communication. You’ll learn to analyse complex issues, communicate clearly to varied audiences, and apply professional standards across both disciplines. The program is delivered on campus at RMIT’s Melbourne City campus as an undergraduate Law qualification. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue pathways in legal practice and law-related roles while also working in communication-focused careers. Opportunities may include graduate lawyer (subject to professional requirements), legal and policy roles in government or industry, compliance and corporate advisory support, or positions in public relations, corporate communications, media writing and stakeholder engagement.
