About the course
This double degree combines Deakin’s Bachelor of Laws with Politics, Philosophy and Economics to help you analyse policy, governance and complex social challenges. You build legal knowledge alongside political, ethical and economic thinking, with opportunities for practical experience through clinics, internships and team-based projects. The course is designed to prepare you to connect law with public decision-making and real-world issues in a Bachelor-level law and policy pathway.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that bridge law, policy and economics across government, business and the community sector. Career directions may include legal practice (subject to professional requirements), policy and strategy roles, regulation and compliance, public administration, advocacy, consulting and governance-related positions.
