About the course
This double degree combines a Bachelor of Laws with Global Security to examine how law, policy and international affairs respond to modern security threats. You’ll study terrorism and counterterrorism, human rights and refugee law, and the security challenges of the Indo-Pacific region. Practical opportunities include legal clinic experience, mooting and internships. This is an undergraduate combined qualification in Law and global security. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.

Graduates can pursue roles across the legal sector and security-focused organisations, applying legal training alongside insights into global security and counterterrorism. Career paths may include lawyer, security analyst, intelligence services roles, and positions in customs, border protection or defence. Opportunities also exist in state and federal government, law enforcement, foreign affairs and NGOs. This is an undergraduate pathway into Law and global security careers.
