About the course
This double degree combines a law qualification with a chosen arts major, building legal knowledge alongside critical thinking, writing and broader humanities perspectives. You’ll study core legal foundations and explore the role and impact of law in society, while tailoring the arts component to your interests. Located in Melbourne’s legal precinct, the course also supports opportunities to complement study with relevant experience in arts, media or government in an undergraduate law and arts programme.

Graduates can pursue pathways toward legal practice (subject to admission requirements) as well as roles that value strong analysis and communication skills. Career options may include work in legal practice and related justice organisations, policy and government, community and advocacy services, and roles across arts and media sectors where legal literacy is beneficial.
