About the course

This double degree combines a qualifying law programme with an arts major in areas such as creative writing, social science or the humanities. You build legal knowledge and practical skills for professional practice in Australia, with opportunities for work-integrated learning and placement experiences. The arts component broadens cultural understanding and strengthens communication and creative capabilities alongside transferable skills valued across sectors in undergraduate Law and Arts.

Career outcome

Pathways include working in private practice as a solicitor or barrister, and roles across government departments, non-government agencies and legal organisations. The combined skill set also supports opportunities in media, public relations and the creative industries, offering flexibility across professional settings for a Bachelor-level qualification in Law and Arts. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
