About the course
Landscape Architecture at UWA is an undergraduate extended major focused on designing and planning outdoor environments across urban, regional and ecological contexts. You’ll explore how landscapes are shaped by climate, culture and infrastructure, developing creative and technical skills to propose resilient, liveable places. The course builds a strong foundation for further study and practice in landscape architecture and the built environment. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue opportunities related to planning, designing and managing landscapes for public spaces, urban developments, parks and environmental projects. Career pathways may include roles assisting landscape architects, working in design studios, local government and planning agencies, or in environmental and community-focused consultancies.
