About the course
International Relations is a multidisciplinary major that examines how states, organisations and other actors interact through diplomacy, norms, economics and power. You’ll explore contemporary global issues using political theory, international relations theory, foreign policy analysis, strategic studies and political history, building a strong foundation for study within a Bachelor of Arts pathway in the humanities. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply knowledge of international politics, institutions and global processes to roles across government and international-facing organisations. Career paths may include diplomacy and foreign affairs, political and policy consulting, government strategy, and research roles in think tanks.
