About the course

This major focuses on designing engaging experiences across virtual, mixed-reality and physical-digital environments. You’ll explore how people interact with technology and media, and build creative capability in interactive and immersive experience design. As part of the Bachelor of Digital Creative Industries, you can broaden your study through electives, specialisations or complementary majors to strengthen your design practice in immersive UX. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Career outcome

Graduates can create and improve digital experiences across platforms such as services, mobile apps, games and VR. Career options include immersive/VR experience designer, UI/UX designer, interaction designer, digital strategist/product designer, web/app designer and interactive installation artist. You may work across film and television, gaming and interactive media, arts and entertainment, advertising and marketing, education and e-learning, retail and e-commerce, and tourism within a design-focused undergraduate major.
