About the course
This honours year builds advanced research capability in human movement and nutrition sciences through an approved research project and thesis. You’ll investigate a specialist area such as biomechanics and motor control, sociocultural studies, or human movement and health, supported by expert researchers and facilities. The Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences (Honours) is a one-year Bachelor Honours qualification in sports and nutrition sciences. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can use their honours training to strengthen applications for professional roles and research-focused work in health, sport and nutrition settings. Possible pathways include roles such as research assistant or research associate, and support roles in nutrition-related environments. The Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences (Honours) also provides a strong platform for higher degrees by research, including PhD study in sports and nutrition sciences.
