About the course
This dual program combines human movement and nutrition science with professional journalism training. You’ll study how physical activity, exercise, sleep and nutrition influence health, chronic disease prevention and sporting performance, while building reporting skills across digital, broadcast, print and social media. Graduates are prepared to communicate evidence-based health stories and shape public understanding through journalism and media practice at bachelor level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where health expertise and storytelling intersect, including health journalism and sports journalism. The program also supports careers in media and communications, public relations and content production for health, sport and wellbeing organisations. With practical reporting experience and strong grounding in the sciences of movement and nutrition, you’ll be equipped to translate complex information for public audiences in bachelor-level media and communication careers.
