About the course
This honours-by-research program provides a single entry point to complete an Honours qualification across science and information technology areas. You will undertake a supervised research project, build research and analytical capability, and develop advanced academic skills through independent inquiry. Study is campus-based at UC’s Bruce campus. This is a Bachelor Honours degree in science and technology. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for research-focused roles and further study, including pathways to higher degrees by research. Skills developed support work in scientific and technology settings where investigation, data analysis, and evidence-based problem solving are required. Outcomes may include roles such as research assistant, laboratory or technical officer, or entry to postgraduate research. This is a Bachelor Honours qualification in science and technology.
