About the course
This combined Bachelor of Health Sciences / Master of Physiotherapy prepares you for registration and professional practice as a physiotherapist. You will build a strong health science foundation and then progress to advanced physiotherapy study, supported by Flinders’ strengths in rural health and health service improvement. The course includes substantial supervised clinical placements and prepares you to work with people of all ages across hospital, rehabilitation, community and private practice settings in physiotherapy.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue physiotherapy roles across a broad range of settings, supporting people with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory and neurological conditions. Employment pathways include acute hospitals, rehabilitation services, community and home-care programs, aged care, disability and paediatric services, and private practice, including sports organisations. The Master of Physiotherapy component meets academic requirements for registration, supporting a professional career in physiotherapy.
