About the course
Deakin’s Bachelor of Health Sciences builds broad expertise across contemporary health issues and lets you tailor study through up to three majors and electives. You’ll develop foundational knowledge through core units, then deepen skills in areas such as nutrition, public health, disability and inclusion, exercise science and health promotion. Workplace learning options, including a final-year practicum, help you apply learning in real settings in this bachelor-level health sciences degree.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across health promotion, community and disability services, sustainability and environmental health, policy and program support, and wellbeing initiatives in government, NGOs and private organisations.
