About the course
The Master of Public Health Extension (Climate and Environment) builds advanced public health capability with a focus on how climate and environmental change affect population health. You’ll develop skills to design, implement and evaluate evidence-informed interventions, policy and community programs, with flexible study options. This is a masters-level public health qualification with a specialist climate and environment focus. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across government, NGOs, health services and consultancy working on health promotion, community wellbeing and climate-related health strategy. Potential pathways include public health project management, research, advocacy and policy development, corporate wellness, indigenous health initiatives and health technology advisory roles.
