About the course
This combined Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Physiotherapy prepares you to restore and optimise movement and function across diverse clients and communities. You’ll build skills in physiotherapy assessment and intervention, ethical and professional practice, communication, evidence-based care, and interprofessional teamwork, with a strong focus on First Nations perspectives and rural and remote health. The degree includes substantial supervised clinical placements to develop job-ready practice as a physiotherapist.
Career outcome
Graduates may work as physiotherapists across a wide range of settings, including community health centres, public and private hospitals, aged care, paediatrics, mental health services, and private practices. Opportunities may also exist in non-government organisations, correctional and government services, corporate and industrial workplaces, education and universities, and research facilities. This Bachelor/Master pathway supports entry to physiotherapy practice across northern and remote Australian contexts.
