About the course
This undergraduate Health Data Specialisation builds skills in using digital health data to support public health decision-making. You’ll learn to analyse big datasets to identify patterns and trends, and explore data capture, cyber security, visualisation, and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in health settings. You’ll also strengthen interpretation and communication of results for different audiences within health disciplines. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where health data supports planning and service improvement, such as health data analyst, data management officer, community development officer or researcher. Career pathways span health research organisations, local and state government, and non-government organisations, contributing to evidence-based programs and evaluation.
