The Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) at The University of Queensland builds advanced computing expertise and research capability for technology and data-driven industries. You study advanced algorithms, data structures and research methods, and complete a year-long research project, presenting outcomes in a thesis and poster or demonstration. The honours year strengthens independent thinking, communication and ethical judgement in computer science. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.

Graduates can pursue advanced roles across software development, data and AI, cyber security and technology consulting.
