Curtin’s Geography double degree major examines relationships between people, places and environments across local to global contexts. You’ll investigate challenges and opportunities linked to urbanisation, globalisation and climate change, and explore themes such as governance, migration, indigenous rights, and food and energy security. The major builds analytical and fieldwork capabilities and offers opportunities to connect with industry partners within a Bachelor double degree pathway in geography.
Career outcome
This major can support careers analysing how environmental and social change affects communities and regions. Graduates may work in roles such as natural resource manager, social assessment officer, regional development coordinator, landcare advisor or environmental assessor.
