About the course
This integrated Bachelor of Forensic Science / Master of Forensic Science fast-tracks you to a postgraduate qualification while building strong theoretical and hands-on capability for forensic work. You’ll major in Forensic Biology or Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology, with electives across areas such as crime science and laboratory disciplines. The master’s component adds specialist training in crime-scene investigation and evidence analysis, culminating in a final-year research project in forensic science.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for laboratory and crime-scene focused roles across policing, national security, defence and investigative agencies. Possible pathways include forensic investigation and crime-scene roles, plus specialist positions in forensic biology, forensic chemistry/toxicology, and intelligence or forensic analysis. The course also supports progression into research-oriented work through project experience aligned to operational needs of forensic institutions, in forensic science.
