About the course
This Bachelor of Exercise Science focuses on how the body responds to physical activity and how exercise can improve health and performance. You’ll build a strong science base in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and psychology with hands-on learning and professional placements. The course supports careers across preventive health, community programs and sport, and can be a pathway to further study such as exercise physiology, teaching, physiotherapy or research in sports science.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying exercise and sport science in health, fitness and performance settings. Career pathways include exercise scientist, sports analyst, biomechanist, physiologist, strength and conditioning coach/trainer, personal trainer, and health and fitness specialist or assessor. Opportunities also extend to corporate and occupational health and physical activity promotion roles across community, education and high-performance sport environments for a bachelor-level sports science qualification.
