About the course
This double degree develops the knowledge and practical skills to improve health and performance across diverse populations. You build strong foundations in anatomy, physiology, nutrition and strength and conditioning, then progress to advanced exercise physiology, prescription and rehabilitation. Learning is supported by modern facilities and substantial community placements and real-world experiences, preparing you for professional practice in undergraduate exercise and rehabilitation settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting health, fitness and performance in clinical and community settings. Potential careers include exercise scientist, exercise physiology assistant, strength and conditioning or performance support roles, and positions in rehabilitation and chronic disease management services. Opportunities may exist across hospitals, allied health practices, sporting organisations, community health programs and corporate wellness. This is a Bachelor-level pathway in sports and exercise science.
