About the course
Build advanced exercise and sport science capability through an honours year that combines coursework with an original supervised research project. You’ll develop research design and methods knowledge and gain experience planning and delivering a project, supported by academic supervision. The degree can strengthen pathways into research higher degrees and related professional roles in sport and exercise science at honours level. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can use honours-level research training to support roles where evidence-based sport and exercise science is valued, including research assistant or entry-level roles in sport performance and athlete monitoring, health and fitness organisations, and industry-linked projects. The course also prepares eligible students to pursue masters or PhD study by research in sport and exercise science as an honours qualification.
