About the course
This double degree combines exercise and sport science with engineering (honours) to develop solutions that enhance health, rehabilitation and sports technology. You’ll study human movement, biomechanics and performance alongside mechanical engineering design and manufacturing. Strong hands-on learning is embedded through project-based units and substantial workplace placements, preparing you to innovate across sport, health and human performance as a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree graduate.

Graduates can pursue cross-disciplinary roles where sport and exercise science meets product and technology development. Career paths may include sports technology and equipment development, biomechanics and performance support, rehabilitation and health-technology innovation, or engineering roles in organisations building performance-enhancing products and digital fitness solutions.
