About the course
This combined honours degree builds advanced capability in civil engineering and surveying, completed in five years. You’ll study key civil specialisations such as structural, water and geotechnical engineering, alongside surveying focused on spatial measurement, analysis and mapping of the Earth’s features. The program includes 12 weeks of industrial experience to strengthen professional practice and employability in engineering and land development. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can work across infrastructure, land development and geospatial industries, combining design, analysis and field practice. Roles may include civil engineering designer, structural or geotechnical engineer, transport or water engineer, geospatial specialist, and registered land surveyor, as well as pathways into town planning and urban development. This is a combined Bachelor (Honours) qualification spanning civil engineering and surveying. Preparing graduates for graduate engineer, project support, and technical design roles across engineering sectors.
