About the course
This honours degree in environmental science focuses on land resources and practical field-based learning. You’ll build contemporary skills to assess land condition, manage impacts and support sustainable communities, while completing an honours research project. Study is delivered on campus at Wollongong with opportunities to apply science to real environmental challenges. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Environmental Science. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across environmental assessment, land and water management, sustainability and government or consultancy. Potential careers include agronomist, bush regenerator, contaminated land/water assessor, environmental compliance or policy officer, hydrologist, park ranger, GIS/spatial officer, waste manager and research scientist.
