About the course

Developed with the Defence Science and Technology Group, this degree focuses on electronic and electromagnetic technologies for systems and security contexts. You’ll study communications such as radar, radio and microwaves alongside signal processing, infrared imaging, multispectral sensing, networking, cybersecurity and telecommunications, with access to facilities at the Tonsley campus and industry-linked projects and placements. This is an undergraduate engineering qualification in electrical-focused systems security.

Graduates can pursue roles across defence and defence industry, telecommunications, and computer and information security, with skills spanning electronic systems, sensing and secure communications. Entry requirements
