About the course
This degree prepares you to build practical, industry-ready engineering technology skills with a focus on electronics. You’ll develop problem-solving capability and applied knowledge to support the design, testing and implementation of electronic systems, and work effectively alongside professional engineers. Study is delivered on campus at Wollongong and can be completed in three years full time. This is an undergraduate qualification in electrical/electronics engineering technology.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue technical roles supporting electronic and electrical systems across manufacturing, infrastructure, communications and automation. Potential pathways include electronics engineering technologist, test and commissioning technologist, instrumentation and control technologist, maintenance/operations technologist, and technical project support roles. You’ll be suited to work with engineering teams on implementing and improving electronic solutions. This is a bachelor-level pathway into electrical/electronics engineering technology careers.
