About the course
This degree is designed as a direct pathway into engineering for students who don’t yet meet maths or physics prerequisites. You’ll build core foundations in mathematics, physics, programming and design, then specialise through a major such as biomedical, civil, electrical and electronics, mechanical, sustainability, or Design and UX. Study across Flinders City Campus and Tonsley and graduate prepared for entry-level technical work or transfer into an accredited engineering bachelor program.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue entry-level roles supporting engineering and design projects or use the degree as a pathway into an accredited Bachelor of Engineering. Majors align to careers and industries including civil infrastructure and construction, advanced manufacturing, defence, healthcare technology, industrial and product design, electronics and energy systems, and sustainability and environmental work. This Bachelor-level engineering science qualification provides broad technical grounding and flexible specialisation options in engineering.
