About the course

QUT’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Medical) prepares you to apply engineering to healthcare challenges, combining strong mechanical engineering foundations with knowledge of human physiology and medical technology. You’ll develop skills in designing and improving medical devices, instrumentation and related systems, with real-world projects and industry-focused learning. This is an undergraduate honours qualification in medical engineering. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
