About the course
This course is designed for students seeking an engineering-related career who may not meet entry requirements for ECU’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). You’ll build foundational technology and engineering knowledge and develop practical skills to support work in technical engineering environments. The program can also be used as a pathway into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), providing an undergraduate entry point to Engineering – Other at bachelor level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue engineering-related roles in technical and support capacities across industries that use engineering technologies and systems. Opportunities may include engineering technologist or technician-style positions, project or operations support, and roles assisting design, testing, maintenance and implementation work within engineering teams.
