About the course
This double degree combines engineering with physics to build strong foundations in the principles that underpin modern technology and problem solving. You’ll develop analytical and research skills while applying physics concepts to engineering contexts, graduating with a distinctive mix of scientific insight and professional engineering capability. This is an undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Physics) program. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that bridge engineering and physics, suited to industries where advanced modelling, analysis and applied science are valued. Potential pathways include engineering practice informed by physics, research and development, scientific/technical consulting, and technology-focused roles across energy, manufacturing, electronics and related sectors. Outcomes align with an undergraduate engineering honours and physics double degree. Preparing graduates for graduate engineer, project support, and technical design roles across engineering sectors.
