About the course
The Bachelor of Engineering (Flexible Entry) lets you start with a common first semester and explore different engineering disciplines before selecting a specialisation. You’ll build foundations in engineering problem solving, science and mathematics, learn about career pathways, and get support from teaching staff to choose the right direction. Completed courses count as full credit toward the specialist engineering programs. This is an undergraduate engineering degree. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
This flexible-entry engineering degree is a pathway into a range of accredited engineering specialisations, so outcomes depend on the pathway you choose after first semester. Graduates can work across industries such as infrastructure, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, digital technologies, health, defence and environmental sustainability, applying engineering skills to solve complex, real-world problems. The program also includes industrial experience to build workplace readiness in engineering.
