About the course
This double degree builds a broad foundation in civil engineering and environmental science, focusing on how to design and manage systems that shape human interaction with the environment. You’ll study areas such as environmental and water management, planning and restoration, ecosystems and marine science, and complete substantial practical experience including more than 60 days of work placement. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Engineering – Civil. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.

Graduates can pursue roles across civil engineering and environmental science where infrastructure, ecosystems and resource use intersect. Opportunities may include work with construction and building industries, engineering and environmental consultancies, government agencies, mining and resource management organisations, parks and wildlife services, research organisations and water supply authorities.
