About the course
This double degree combines chemical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences to give you end-to-end capability across designing, developing and scaling pharmaceutical products. You’ll build strong engineering fundamentals alongside applied pharmaceutical knowledge, with an emphasis on large-scale manufacture and process design. Graduates complete a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree focused on engineering–chemical and pharmaceutical production contexts. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.

Career options span pharmaceutical and chemical process industries where product development and manufacturing intersect. You may work in process and production engineering, scale-up, manufacturing operations, quality and compliance, or process optimisation within pharmaceutical, biotechnology and related manufacturing organisations. Graduates are prepared for technical roles that leverage a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in chemical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences.
