About the course
This Bachelor of Education (Secondary) prepares you to teach and support high school students at a key stage of development. You’ll build subject-area expertise through NESA-accredited teaching specialisations, alongside practical classroom skills and reflective practice. Training is supported by immersive simulation technologies (e.g., SimTeach/SimCave/SimSchool) and a focus on diverse learners, equity and Indigenous knowledges. This is an undergraduate degree in secondary education.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue teaching and education-related roles across schools and community settings. Career paths include secondary (high school) teacher in subject-specific areas, specialist teacher in primary schools, and English as a Second Language teacher. You may also work beyond the classroom in education support and development roles such as community educator, education policy analyst, or curriculum developer/evaluator. This is a Bachelor-level qualification in Education & Teaching.
