This degree prepares you to become a classroom-ready secondary teacher, building strong discipline knowledge and practical teaching skills across all stages of secondary school. You develop expertise in two teaching areas and progressively build confidence through observation, co-teaching and full class responsibility. The program includes extensive school-based learning and can be paired with other study to broaden future options in secondary education at bachelor level. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across secondary education settings, including government, independent and Catholic schools, and other faith-based schools.
